Briones

Part of what I love about my job is going places that I would probably never make it to on my own.  I spent Friday morning trailing Samantha and Berlin around Briones Park...beautiful trails and meadows, majestic trees and the prettiest field of yellow flowers.
Here they are, enjoying the day...

And this shot will look amazing as a 10x20 print...even though in looks tiny on my blog!

Berlin was such a chatty little girl...and looked directly at me in most of the pictures, which is rare for a 14 month old!  Normally they are always looking down!

And I think this is one of my favorites from the day.  Color images really do Briones justice, but this image just worked in black and white!

Samantha is surprising her husband with these pictures for his birthday.  And I found out even more fun things, like the fact that they met in the field of yellow flowers, which used to be a Christmas Tree lot.  And Samantha grew up running around Briones as a kid...I love all the tie-ins!  It was an absolute pleasure!!
